Adventures in Utah!

In September of 2020, I became a new member of the Utah Symphony! I suppose it’s time to pack away my Florida gear (i.e. swimming suit, tennis and golf gear, linen clothes) and buy/find some SLC gear (hiking boots, ski equipment, base layers, scarves, and gloves). It’s time to say farewell to sandy white beaches, daily swims with my family, weekly tennis, humidity, outdoor lessons. It’s time to welcome snow covered mountain peaks, weekly hikes, static electricity, more Zoom lessons, and new adventures. Ok, you get it. I’ve moved to Utah! I’m thrilled to join an orchestra with such a rich history, an exceptionally beautiful hall, and some truly wonderful people and musicians. And I’m so thankful to have an opportunity to make music during these challenging times. I was recently interviewed for a small feature about what brought me to the Utah Symphony. It will be posted on our Musicians of the Utah Symphony facebook page. When that is released, I will share that here on my blog.
